The PAIR research project aims to provide evidence for the use of peer support among people living with ABI. We aim to ease the transition from rehabilitation centres to the community, ensuring better provision of services, and, ultimately, improving the health and quality of life of people living with ABI. The CEDAR Lab (Collaborative Evidence: Developing Awareness and Research for Brain Injury) is based at G.F. Strong Rehabilitation Centre and affiliated with the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, BC. Our lab collaborates with people with brain injuries, community associations, healthcare providers, and policymakers to understand the experience of people with brain injury and develop programs to support quality of life and personally meaningful goals after brain injury.
